International Sales Exhibition of Minerals, Fossils, Jewels and Natural Products

A large number of exhibitors have registered for November MINERALS BRNO

 

One month before its actual opening, the MINERALS BRNO is successfully filling up. Over the past two weeks there have been more 30 additional exhibitors. Hence, in mid-October there are more than 170 exhibitors registered, majority of them from the Czech Republic, while a significant number of exhibitors also come from Slovakia, Hungary and Poland, and  are exhibitors have also registered from Germany, India , Italy and Romania. It is expected that the number of registered exhibitors will be once again record-breaking.

For visitors to the Minerals Brno exhibition will be available a wide range of jewellery, designer jewels and worked stones, as well as collecting rocks, fossils, naturalia and thematic literature – for instance, a book titled PRECIOUS STONES OF ANCIENT CIVILIZATIONS can be purchased directly from the hands of the author. Products from precious stones including decorative items and home accessories will also be available for purchase. The exhibition will feature a view to the production of designer jewellery on the exhibition floor, there will be seen for example designer jewels made ​​by wiring technique, precious stones and exotic jewellery from Peru, larimar from the Dominican Republic, jewellery with Bohemian garnets and moldavites, coral clusters from remote Solomon Islands, original pewter jewellery with minerals, jewellery manufactured with fusing technique and tiffany technique.

The complementary exhibition of November Minerals Brno this year is dedicated to the most interesting sites of Slovakia - 600 samples of processed minerals and stones will be showcased, including precious and wood opals, minerals from magnesite mines, typical Slovak minerals such as libethenite, euchroite, mrazekite, langite, tirolite, celestite, aragonite, kermezite, schafarzikite and others; definitely stand out will minerals from Dobšiná (asbestos, aragonite, garnets, crystallized arsenides) and Železník.

Visitors can also look forward to a competition for prizes in the field of precious metals and precious stones and products made ​​from them.

November MINERALS BRNO 2013 will be held again in Hall B of the Brno Exhibition Centre.
