Brief characteristics of the exhibit
SBX500 is turning machining center dedicated to precise machining of complex shaped work pieces of flange and shaft types from different kinds of material. It allows inner and outer turning of rotary shaped surfaces, thread cutting, axis boring, 4 axes continuous milling and off-axis boring. Work piece re-clamping into counter spindle allows the possibility of complex shaped work pieces machining.
The machine is equipped with modern, efficient control system Sinumeric 840D sl Operate with rich graphical programming support.
The design of the machine have been developed in co-operation with RCMT Praha.
