Brief characteristics of the exhibit
ROMESY also known as robotic measuring system is a device developed in collaboration with the Department of Cybernetics the Czech Technical University in Prague, to serve for a comprehensive products quality control. It is primarily designed for industries producing different variations of plastic moldings, which quality needs to be verified in time that does not interfere with the production schedule. System is based on the robot operating system (ROS), which is free, open source and hardware independent. Allows to measure products using 2D or 3D technologies at a fraction of the cost of competitive devices. Our task was to fill a gap in the field of comprehensive products quality control on the Czech market with final solution and that solution is ROMESY.
