Brief characteristics of the exhibit
The automatic guiding system „ASTRRA One Touch“ represents a significant improvement over the traditional mechanical methods of guide rail adjustment. It is designed with focus on easy and low cost installation to provide to end-users flexibility of production lines and to increase of productivity.
Based of control automatic guiding system is industrial wireless WiFi communications protocol which eliminates cumbersome and expensive point-to-point control wiring to a central PLC.
„ASTRRA One Touch“ only needs connection of each point to inexpensive 24V DC along the length of conveyor. For the control of automatic guiding system could be used for example tablet with OS Windows, WiFi connection and installed control Astrra software delivered together with Astrra hardware. Once installed and aligned the “ASTRRA One Touch” the setting up the conveyor for a new package requires nothing more than entering the package width or diameter in the system and rails will move to the new position. Dimensions may be entered in increments of 0.1mm.
