ABB RobotStudio with Remote Laser Welding PowerPac. Remote Laser welding on-the-fly with scanner optics is a common type of application these days, mainly in automotive industry. But it has never been so easy to program both the robot and the laser head at the same time. Remote Laser Welding PowerPac is a software package seamlessly integrated into ABB RobotStudio - programming environment for ABB robots. Now you can easily program a robot and a laser head in one common environment, from first simulation to final tuning. The synchronization is instant without needs of any other software or manual synchronization (e.g. even simple change of welding speed in on-the-fly welding can be tricky with other solutions). Tuning of welding parameters can be done on FlexPendant (robot hand operating panel), standing right next to a part.
