Brief characteristics of the exhibit
The new ATOS 3D scanner excels above all in measuring speed and accuracy - it measures up to 100 Hz, which corresponds to 0.2 seconds per 1 scan. The quality of the measurement data is particularly evident in the detail sharpness, for example when measuring narrow radii or hemmed edges in sheet metal. The sensor is designed for state-of-the-art metrology applications from the automotive and aviation industry. It has been developed for use in harsh industrial environments. The scanner is suitable for a diverse range of manual and automated applications: from tool and mold measurement through castings and models to plastic and metal parts. In combination with the ATOS ScanBox Series 7 and 8, it features a cutting-edge 3D measuring system for tool, press and body shops.
