Brief characteristics of the exhibit
The Koyama machine is used for grinding and cutting castings, especially for the removal of flashes, gating systems and feeders. This machines is designed for cast iron, aluminum, copper and brass alloys in weights ranging from less than 1 kg to more than 400 kg. Grinding and cutting of castings is 2-5 times faster than hand grinding, with a consistent quality of machining. Simple non skilled operation and programming on site with no CNC past experience required.
