Brief characteristics of the exhibit
This scooter is the second generation of the unique object, whose frame was made of 316L stainless steel using a 3D printer (machine AM 400 by Renishaw). The frame is completely hollow and consists of eight individual segments welded together. Its printing lasted less than 300 hours. When designing the scooter, we based the design on the model of the Czech manufacturer Kostka and applied the principle of bionic construction, which uses knowledge from the study of living organisms and their structures for the development of new technologies. For example, the treads are inspired by snake skin, the front of the frame resembles the roots of trees, and the safety foot is like a butterfly. In addition to the innovative production method, the scooter is characterized by an attractive design and a distinctive sporty look.
