Brief characteristics of the exhibit

Multifunctional cylindrical grinding machine is a compact universal grinding machine with a sliding grinding unit in the longitudinal direction with the possibility of placing even more grinding units on the longitudinal guide of the rear bed. Each grinding unit can be equipped with several grinding wheels so as to ensure the possibility of a larger shape or quality configuration of the grinding wheels. The drives of the individual feed axes are based on linear motors. The workpiece part of the machine consist of a non-sliding table on the front bed, where the work headstock, tailstock and other accessories are placed on the clamping profile. The concept of the machine is characterized by high rigidity and allows grinding of workpieces up to a weight of 12 tons by using a steady rests. The machine is equipped with measurement system with automatic input of electronic compensations of the machine geometry in the area of linear displacement. The machine allows to be equipped by a post-process and in-process wide-range gauge which is located on the linear guide and completely controlled from the operation panel of the machine.
