Digital Factory 2.0 will focus on technological transformation of economy
The second edition of the successful Digital Factory 2.0 exhibition will be featured at the International Engineering Fair held at the Brno Exhibition Centre from 8 to 12 November 2021. This year's topic will be the technological transformation of the Czech economy. Siemens became the golden partner of the project. Additional partners include Cerebrica and Grant Thornton.
Exhibition of transformation technologies
Within Digital Factory 2.0, a spatially interconnected, thematically structured exhibition will be constructed, consisting of islands of exhibitors defining individual components of the digital factory. Companies such as Siemens, 3Dees Industries, 4dot Mechatronic Systems, Act-in CZ, AYES, Bits4s, Bossard CZ, Cerebrica, dataPartner, EasyCargo - Load efficiently, Grant Thornton, Hardwario, Intemac Solutions, Leadspicker, M2C, NeuronSW, Optisolutions, SIDAT, SKF CZ, stoba Precizní Technika, SysTech Group, The Cloud Provider or UNIS will be featured.
Conference "Czech Republic – an Industrial Superower 2028?"
The second session of this international conference will focus on the issue of digital transformation in the post-covid period and the subsequent data interconnection of companies leading to increased efficiency of mutual inter-company cooperation. The conference will focus on the definition of strategic development goals for the Czech Republic as well as case studies on successful solutions and procedures. Within the individual conference blocks, the most effective tools and procedures in solving problem areas will be presented. Participants will also have a unique opportunity to engage in a discussion with key Industry 4.0 stakeholders. Speakers will include Eduard Palíšek, CEO at SIEMENS Czech Republic Group, and Vladimír Mařík, Scientific Director of the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics, Czech Technical University in Prague. Petr Očko, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic for Digitization and Innovation, will answer the question of whether the future of the Czech Republic's development lies in a new form of industry created by combining expert knowledge with new technologies (artificial intelligence, digital twins and 5G networks); the same speaker will also mention funding options of transformation projects for companies from the National Recovery Plan. Leading Czech economists will further outline and evaluate the development possibilities. The event will be international – an important panelist will be, for example, Tilman Becker from the Research and Innovation Centre for Advanced Industrial Production. The conference will take place on Wednesday 10 November.
