The French region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is the partner of this year's MSV International Engineering Fair. It is the most industrialized region of France with the second highest GDP in the nation.

Major companies from this area will be presented at MSV, and the region will also be presented in the form of a separate stand. The expo will also be attended by an official delegation consisting of the highest representatives of the region. "The participation of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France's leading industrial region, at the MSV fair in Brno reflects the region's effort to support, in close cooperation with Team France Export, its businesses in their international development with the aim of facilitating and supporting the conclusion of new business and industrial partnerships. MSV is renowned for its dynamics in the field of technological and IT innovation, and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region represents investment opportunities for Czech and Central European companies. As the most important industrial employer in France, it supports industrial companies and industrial service suppliers in every stage of their entrepreneurship in the new territory. Thanks to Team France Export and the economic development agency Invest in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, businesses in the region can use a number of services, such as support for setting up or developing a business in France, individual studies on available financial support, help in establishing contacts with other businesses for faster integration into the ecosystem or finding an ideal location to establish a business," communicated Philippe Meunier, Vice-President in charge of International Relations of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region.

The partnership was concluded in cooperation with the French-Czech Chamber of Commerce, which regularly organizes the participation of French companies at this Engineering Fair. "At this year's MSV International Engineering Fair, we want to present France as one of the Czech Republic's key business partners. France is the fourth largest customer and seventh largest supplier of the Czech Republic. Our participation will be breaking all records of the last 20 years – we will present as many as 25 French companies in 5 exhibition halls. The guest of honour will be the French region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, which has the second highest GDP in France, a population of 8 million and a large share of jobs in industry represents, presenting thus an attractive business opportunity for Czech companies," said Michal Macko, director of the French-Czech Chamber of Commerce.

"We also want to focus on the current economic situation in the context of rising energy prices and inflation. At the panel discussion on sustainable business, we will publish the results of a survey among member companies, which ascertained specific impacts on their plans and potential cost-saving measures. At the same time, we will present specific examples of innovations in energy savings and sustainable business," added Macko.
