The French region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes has become this year's MSV partner thanks to the cooperation with the French-Czech Chamber of Commerce. It is an important and promising region with more than eight million inhabitants and the second highest GDP in France.

The opening ceremony of the exposition in Hall V was attended by the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala; Jozef Síkela, Minister of Industry and Trade; Martin Kupka, Minister of Transport; Eva Decroix, Member of the Parliament of the Czech Republic; Jaroslav Hanák, President of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic; Philipp Meunier, Vice President of the Auvergne-Rhônes-Alpes region, His Excellency Alexis Dutertre, Ambassador of France to the Czech Republic; Roland Bourgeois, Chairman of the Board of the French-Czech Chamber of Commerce; Tomáš Moravec, CEO of BVV Trade Fairs Brno; and Radoslav Klepáč, Director of External Relations and Marketing at BVV Trade Fairs Brno.

The French-Czech Chamber of Commerce (FCCC) is a private legal entity of a bilateral nature, bringing together more than three hundred French, Czech and multinational member companies. Over the last 25 years it has implemented more than five hundred business projects in a number of sectors.
