The 22nd International Fair of Eye Optics, Optometry and Ophthalmology will be held from 18 to 20 March 2016. Let us inform you less than two months before its start about the preparations of the fair. Nearly sixty exhibitors have already registered and more are still negotiating about their form of participation.

The opening hours of the fair remain unchanged. On Friday and Saturday, OPTA will be available to visitors from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Sunday from 9:00 to 14:00. On Saturday, the fair will – as usual – be followed by the OPTA PARTY for exhibitors and their business partners.

OPTA will again be held in Hall B, including the professional and corporate programme. What is certain is the highlighted topicof the fair: "We Control the World Through Our Eyes". Our vision is a mediator of all our decisions – when driving a car, working on the computer or while playing sports. To make the right decision means to see clearly under any circumstances. Many of us take good vision for granted, so we do not really realize that we do CONTROL THE WORLD THROUGH OUR EYES. Any effort to provide sharper and more comfortable vision is an endeavour to make our world safer and more beautiful.

This topic will also be highlighted in the TOP OPTAcompetition. It will evaluate all products or technology that enhances sharp and comfortable vision in everyday life. The motto will be the ‘measuring tape’ of those registered exhibits, which allow one to make the right and safe decisions, allowing our eyes to control the world.

We will certainly repeat the successful projects from last year, specifically, the shop window decorators’ show (where you can of course participate) or the Styling Point.
