International Eye Optics, Optometry and Ophthalmology Fair
OPTA will not take place in the first half of this year
Dear Exhibitors,
With regard to the current development of the Covid-19 pandemic and on the basis of telephone conversations with most of you, we would like to inform you that the OPTA 2021 trade fair will not take place in the first half of this year.
The results of the interviews with most of you showed that you do not recommend the April or May dates. On the contrary, most of you are inclined to move this event to a later date in autumn. Given that our most important trade fair – the MSV International Engineering Fair - will take place in our entire exhibition center in mid-September this year, we are now discussing available dates for OPTA with our team colleagues (i.e. should it be held immediately after the MSV at the end September or mid-October). We assume that we could know more in about 14 days and will inform you accordingly.
