The highlighted topic of the fair is "We Control the World Through Our Eyes". Our vision is a mediator of all our decisions – when driving a car, working on the computer or while playing sports. To make the right decision means to see clearly under any circumstances. Many of us take good vision for granted, so we do not really realize that we do CONTROL THE WORLD THROUGH OUR EYES. Any effort to provide sharper and more comfortable vision is an endeavour to make our world safer and more beautiful.

This topic will also be highlighted in the TOP OPTA competition. It will evaluate all products or technology that enhances sharp and comfortable vision in everyday life. The motto will guide the decisions about those registered exhibits, which allow one to make the right and safe decisions, allowing our eyes to control the world. The deadline for applications for the prestigious TOP OPTA and TOP OPTA Professional competitions is 8 March
