Brief characteristics of the exhibit
CARGO HOOK „FOREST“ trailers combine parameters of hooklift trailers with forestry trailers which gives large variability of transported comodities.
Hooklift trailer in "FOREST" performance is suitable for cutting wood collecting and for transport common containers on paved roads. Wood chips or tree seedlings can be transported with high volume containers as well as gravel for forest road repair.
Hooklift trailers are produced with maximal permissible speed 25 or 40 KPH. The chassis in "FOREST" performance are fitted with pivot stub axles which gives high ground clearance. For speed 25 KPH the pivot stub axles are not suspended, for speed 40 KPH there is hydraulic suspension available.
For better operation in the woods the towing eye is rotatable with two hydraulic cylinders as well as on the ordinary forestry trailer.
Forestry hooklift trailers are build with hydraulic forestry loglift cranes or "Z-fold" cranes. The "Z-fold" cranes are folded in front of the hook of the container in transport position and because of that the cranes might not be operated before container manipulation.
