Brief characteristics of the exhibit
The scratcher with one spring is designed primarily for pig breeding and allows the animals to sit comfortably, regardless of the height at withers. It accepts fully the anatomical structure of the body, makes it easy for the operator and makes the animal welfare much more enjoyable. The self-scratching mechanism consists of a metal plate bent in a radius of 180 mm. This plate is attached to the frame so as to allow it to rotate according to the horizontal axis of the grip and at the same time to ensure the vertical movement of the plate. To ensure that the position of the scratching mechanism returns to its initial position after the scratching is completed, the plate is further attached to the grating frame by a compression spring. The frame of scratcher is attached to the wall of the stables or to the construction of the padding by means of a sliding mechanism which allows height adjustment according to the body frame of the housings.
