Central European Veterinary Congress is also open to livestock breeders
A traditional part of the ANIMAL VETEX veterinary fair has also become the Central European Veterinary Congress, held on 1st and 2nd April under the auspices of the Veterinary and Pharmaceutical University in Brno, the Veterinary Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic, and the State Veterinary Administrations of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Congress will be attended by speakers from the Czech Republic but also abroad.
The entire discussion at the Congress will be translated into English.
From the first day's programme, which is focused on veterinary antibiotic policy and resistance, we would like to emphasize a lecture on the theme of Antibiotic policy strategy of pharmaceutical companies in the EU, which will be presented by Declan O'Brien from IFAH-Europe. The program also features contributions by experts from VFU Brno, the Ministry of Agriculture and the State Veterinary Administration. The second day of the Congress will focus on the issue of medicated feed in alimentary livestock breeding.
The Congress is primarily intended for professionals – state and private veterinary surgeons, representatives of state authorities, experts and representatives of universities, but also for livestock breeders. Expected number of participants of the Veterinary Congress is about 150 people from the Czech Republic and abroad.
Should you be interested in attending the Congress, its organizers have prepared a comfortable option of online registration. Students may enjoy reduced registration fee.
