Biomass processing is spreading, biomass must be used effectively
Great attention is paid to biomass during these four trade fairs, not only at the separate BIOMASS fair, Techagro and Silva Regina trade fairs are also interested. The open area in front of the Hall Z features daily demonstrations of wood processing machines by large companies in this field.
Trade fair confirms that Czech farmers have something to offer
Hall H and the surrounding areas, just as the Livestock catalogue of the ANIMAL VETEX Fair includes Czech Pied cattle, Holstein cattle, beef cattle, sheep and goat breeds and also Western horses. Although the space for the livestock show in even years is not as large as is the custom in odd-numbered years, when the National Show of Livestock and Agricultural Equipment is held, live exhibits secure considerable interest among lay visitors as well as experts coming to Brno from the Czech Republic and abroad.
Bulgarian farmers are excited about the fair
TECHAGRO was visited by a delegation of sixteen agricultural experts from Bulgaria. A wide range of machinery, including the latest innovations and high attendance made a very positive impression.
Agricultural Fair celebrates 20 years
One of the three largest agricultural shows in Europe which was first held in Brno just 20 years ago was opened in the Rotunda of Hall A. This year's international trade fair complex of TECHAGRO, ANIMAL VETEX, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS is the largest in its history. Thirteen awards were presented during the opening to the best exhibits and two awards to the leading personalities in the field.
New Zetor Forterra HD model arrives on the market already in July
Traditional Czech manufacturer of agricultural equipment, the company ZETOR TRACTORS presented a new tractor model named Forterra HD at the fair TECHAGRO. It brings Zetor into the 150 hp performance category.

Agriculture and forestry fairs launched with the participation of Minister of Agriculture
The complex of agricultural and forestry fair started today at 9 am when gates of the Brno Exhibition Centre opened. The interest of visitors has been enormous since day one; during the first three hours, 27,000 people passed through the gates of the Exhibition Centre.
Awarded Exhibits Grand Prix
The complex of trade fairs TECHAGRO, ANIMAL VETEX, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS was opened at 10 am with the participation of Minister of Agriculture Marian Jurečka and other distinguished guests.
The international fair Techagro is a major agricultural equipment show in Europe
Between 30th March -3rd April, the Brno Exhibition Centre in the Czech Republic will host a group of fairs headed by the international fair of agricultural technology TECHAGRO. These fairs rank amongst the three largest fairs of this kind in Europe and a visit to these fairs offers a good opportunity to map out the innovations in agricultural and forestry equipment as well as to meet experts, colleagues and everyone in the community of farmers, foresters and game keepers. The first TECHAGRO fair took place at the Brno Exhibition Centre 20 years ago and this edition will become more than a dignified celebration of this anniversary.
Central European Veterinary Congress is also open to livestock breeders
This year's edition of the Central European Veterinary Congress will deal with the use of antibiotics.
