New products at the TECHAGRO fair – ploughs, Crystal tractors, potato harvesters, pellet balers and plough-harrows
New agricultural machinery will be presented by a number of companies at four agrarian trade fairs headed by the International Fair of Agricultural Technology TECHAGRO. This prestigious event will take place between 3rd – 7th April 2016 at the Brno exhibition centre. This traditional „farmers’ feast“ in Brno is one of the largest of its kind in Europe.

For example, the Beroun-based company Kverneland Group Czech will introduce several innovations in its broad machinery portfolio. It will include the new soil cultivation plough made by Kverneland, KV 2500 i-plough, which has won the Machine of the year 2016 award in the category Tillage. It has been developed by the designers for 5 years and has filled a market niche in the five and six-furrow formats market. It is used with tractors up to 280hp. The reversible plough enables in-cab adjustment of plough settings, it can easily be reset by the operator from the transport to working position. Operators can also set left and right-hand turnover angle, change the first plough range, working width as well as depth and straighten furrows to suit an A-B line. It is also possible to change the position of the integrated soil packer Packomat. KV 2500 series features new elements that are proprietary. For example, “Aero Profile“ legs, that are narrower, higher and lighter, combined to a high clearance they prevent possible blockage when ploughing in heavy residues. Another interesting element is the new depth wheels using frame mounted belt wheels and enabling ploughing closer to hedges and borders. The new Variomat is adjustable up to the width of 60 cm.
„At the TECHAGRO fair, we will be presenting a new Premos brand machine by KRONE designed for straw pellet baling. This baler is used with tractors up to 300 hp. The pellets are indented for heating purposes in various types of boilers. Another innovation will be the self-propelled and trailed potato harvesters by Dewuls,“ says the sales representative of KRONE, Miroslav Mašek. This firm also deals in the sale of a wide range of agricultural equipment such as tractors, threshers, forage harvesters, as well as navigation systems, transport machinery and animal feeds. KRONE specialises in fodder harvesters (mowers, tedders, rakes, balers, mower conditioners, harvesters etc.).

The trade fair visitors can look forward to the new Crystal tractor model made by ZETOR. It has a six-cylinder engine up to 144 hp or 163 hp, it also features simple operation and low operation and maintenance costs. „Our goal is to keep improving the utility value of the ZETOR Crystal tractors and meet the customers‘ requirements. The main characteristics of our tractors are power, robustness and efficiency,“ says Adam Žert, Sales and Marketing Dept. Manager in ZETOR TRACTORS a.s.
A number of innovations will also be introduced at the fair by Farmet, a.s. The multi-row share breaker-up and cultivator Fantom 1250 PRO with the working range of 12.5 metres will have Czech premiere at the fair. The machine became the centre of attention at the recent fair in Hannover thanks to its high performance and variability. Another innovation at the Farmet exhibition stand will be the sowing machine Falcon SW and disk plough-harrow Softer 3 PRO.
