The best-selling tractors at the TECHAGRO fair…
The year-on year increases in the sale of new tractors in the Czech market in 2014 rose by 6.5 % percent to 2,453 units. This is indicated by the statistics issued by the Association of Agricultural Machinery Importers. For a long time, the best-selling brands have been John Deere, Zetor and New Holland. All these three leading brands will be presented in April at the International Fair of Agricultural Technology TECHAGRO. This fair takes place at the Brno exhibition starting from Sunday, 3rd April, to Thursday, 7th April 2016. The promoters hope to overcome the record-breaking year 2014, when the fair was attended by 743 exhibitors occupying an area of 83,707 m2.
We asked the representatives of these leading agricultural machinery brands in the Czech Republic about what innovations they prepare for this year’s TECHAGRO?

1. What product innovations has Agrotec prepared for the trade fair visitors?
„The year 2015 was full of innovations in the New Holland brand. A major facelift is apparent mainly in the entire T7-series. It is now complemented with two high performance models where T7.315 Heavy Duty received the prestigious Machine of the Year 2016 award in its category. Even the highest performance conventional tractors of the New Holland T8-series have been modified. Besides a new engine, they are now equipped with a half-tracked, half-wheeled chassis which further enhances traction and reduces ground pressure and compaction.“
2. Which tractor model of the New Holland make is the best-seller in the domestic market?
„We are very happy that the farmers trust more and more the large and high-performance New Holland machines represented by the T7 and T8 series. The current registration results make us hope that we will win in both the prestigious performance categories from 166 to 250 and from 235 to 350 HP.“

1. What product innovations has Zetor prepared for the trade fair visitors?
„At the TECHAGRO fair, ZETOR TRACTORS a.s. will introduce its existing product portfolio of MAJOR, PROXIMA, FORTERRA, as well as the 2015 newcomers, so far the strongest six-cylinder tractor from the ZETOR CRYSTAL brand portfolio. At the trade fair we will also present the design orientation ZETOR by Pininfarina. This is a design direction which will be applied to all Zetor brand model series and products in the coming years.“
2. What Zetor tractor model is the best-seller in the domestic market?
„The best-selling tractor model series in the CR in 2015 is PROXIMA, the best-selling product is MAJOR 80. The statistical data miss the December 2015 data.“

1. What product innovations has John Deere prepared for the trade fair visitors?
„Undoubtedly, the greatest hit will be the new tractor of the 9RX and 8000-series. 9RX will offer a perfect combination of performance and comfort of four track-type units developed specially for John Deere. The 8000-series forage harvesters offers a brand new generation of forage harvesters offering perfect performance, improved crop flow, ease of operation and exclusive design. 2. What John Deere je tractor model is the best-seller in the domestic market?
„6115M tractor model is still popular. This universal tractor is an ideal assistant in the plant as well as animal production. It makes use of a frame structure and it is frequently used with a front-end loader.“
