Tractors are heading to autonomy

The most sought-after exhibits at Techagro are traditionally tractors. New Holland, Valtra, Case, Fendt, Massey Ferguson, Ferrari, Deutz Fahr, Zetor, John Deere, Kubota and other companies will present their new products here.

The company K.B.T. PROFTECH, based in Beroun, is an authorized distributor of Japanese KUBOTA machines, and will bring a new product to the expo – its M6001 tractor. It was supposed to be introduced at Agritechnica in Hanover, but its premiere will eventually take place in Brno. The company will also display models of the M7003 series, equipped with a number of innovative features. The third generation of Kubota M7 tractors, with engine power of 130-175 HP, is introduced with designations M7133, M7153 and M7173; it benefits from the Isobus TIM functionality, which allows two-way communication between the machine and the tractor.

A number of new products have also been prepared by ZETOR TRACTORS. It will offer the entire model portfolio of ZETOR tractors. On display, there will be tractors powered from 20 to 170 HP (PRIMO, COMPAX, UTILIX, HORTUS, MAJOR, PROXIMA, FORTERRA and CRYSTAL). Many other tractors will be seen at partner stands or in front of Halls P and A. Additional new products are tractors powered from 20 to 40 HP – PRIMO and COMPAX. Both versions will be seen at TECHAGRO in a "cabriolet" version. A ZETOR engine meeting the STAGE V emission levels will also be exhibited. Visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to learn about the development of ZETOR's innovative solutions.

The company STROM Praha will also bring several new products that will have their Czech premiere in Brno. Specifically, it will be a whole new model line of John Deere 6M universal tractors. Out of ten models powered from 90 to 195 HP, the company will present 3 samples, one including a forestry extension. There will also be a representative of large universal tractors of the 7R series and the 8R 410 model – the most powerful John Deere classic wheeled tractor. "We have not confirmed this 100% yet, but we would also like to present our  new four-track tractor of the 8RX series," said Pavel Fiala, company representative. "The main current trend is a gradual transition from automation to autonomy. Machines work more and more automatically without operator intervention," adds Fiala.

New Holland will exhibit a new line of T8.380 Genesis heavy duty tractors with many innovative features, tractors for small and family farms as well as the T4 wine and orchard special. The T6.180 MethanePower tractor, which will enter pre-serial production at the end of 2020, demonstrates respect for the planet Earth and the effort to use its resources rationally. This will complete the effort to create an energy-independent farm, where the fuel for driving tractors and vehicles will be produced directly at the farm. The whole system will be presented in cooperation with the company Farmtec at the New Holland exposition.
