Pavilion of the Land of Moravia

The Pavilion of the Land of Moravia is, equally as the Pavilion of the City of Brno, a result of agreement between their architects on a single basic concept. The open street level joins two levels – the higher in the entrance area and the lower around the lake. The entrance lobby connects both exhibition floors; an escape spiral staircase is located diagonally from the entrance. The external expression is underlined by the colour variety of the ceramic tiling. The lower floor is illuminated by windows, the upper floor by skylights. Also, the height of the two pavilions, their outer dimensions and the entrance staircases are almost the same.
