Preliminary final report
The 13th International Fair for Wood and Furniture Industry WOOD-TEC held this year was attended by close to 400 firms and global brands from 18 countries. They presented themselves in Halls P and F and adjacent outdoor spaces. The trade fair was also visited by more than 12,000 professionals coming from 24 countries. More than 70% of the foreign visitors arrived from Slovakia.
Revolutionary frameless door system by TWIN
A brand new solution and innovation introduced at WOOD- TEC 2013 at the exhibition stand of TWIN s.r.o. has s form of the universal frameless door system Xinnix. These systems enable the installation of standard sizes of interior doors opening outside or inside, left or right.
Trendwood will introduce the newest LEGRABOX pull-out
Innovations from the field of furniture and construction fittings will be introduced at the WOOD-TEC fair in Brno by Trendwood – twd s.r.o. The greatest hit will be the LEGRABOX pull-out system, the latest product by Blum. „We have learnt front the past that Blum sets the trends in furniture fittings and therefore we expect interest in this innovation, “said Igor Patráš jr., business manager of the company.
HRANIPEX will introduce the Expres collection of furniture edgings and other new launchestions
A wide range of furniture edgings will be introduced at the October WOOD-TEC fair by HRANIPEX a.s. As part of the EXPRES collection, it will present approximately 1,100 ABS patterns. „ This year we have launched over 150 new products designed to suit the established suppliers of LDTD including Kronospan, Egger, Senosan, Kaindl and others. For the LASER TECH and airTec technologies we offer PP edges and we apply a „functional film“ on the ABS edge collection,“ said Zuzana Svobodová, company’s marketing manager.
New AIRMIX® pump for small-size manufacturers
Professional spraying and painting equipment - spraying guns, pumps and spraying systems will be presented at the WOOD-TEC fair by KREMTECH SPRAYING SYSTEMS, s.r.o. The new launch this year is the new pump AIRMIX® 10-C18.
New version of trunk band saw by PILOUS
The new trunk band saw CTR 750 will be introduced by the traditional exhibitor at the WOOD-TEC in Brno, PILOUS- pásové pily, spol. s r.o. It is a larger version of the legendary model CTR 520, which has fundamentally changed the attitude towards primary timber processing for small-size users. It is the first saw in the world using the bimetal saw band for metals as the cutting tool.
Sherwin-Williams at the WOOD-TEC fair for the seventh time
The company Sherwin-Williams Czech Republic spol. s r.o. will introduce its complete portfolio of materials and wood surface treatment solutions by Becker Acroma and Arti at this year‘s WOOD-TEC. It will mainly focus on exterior materials, surface treatment of windows and external doors as well as waxes and oils, materials intended mainly for medium-size customers.

Furniture MDF boards with special surface and design treatment. UV boards – smooth with high gloss. HIT and HIT 3D boards – structured with high gloss. These are MDF boards (Medium Density Fibreboards) with high gloss, manufactured using exclusive voluminous technology in 3D, resistant to UV radiation, colourfast and requiring low maintenance.
TEKMA will introduce a number of innovations including jointless edge banding technology
