The software imos CAD/CAM and current processes of interior design and furniture manufacturing will premiere in the Czech and Slovak Republic with the imos 12. version at this year’s WOOD-TEC trade fair. The imos 12 software focuses on day-to-day use of the system so that every furniture maker, designer and technician can do more with less effort and with no errors. Emphasis is placed on user friendliness and appropriateness of the technical solutions for various types of manufacture.
The basic innovations in the new version are the following: Fast interior construction and dynamic design changes, more procedures for „free construction“ and new user environment and graphic outputs. „The quality software is mainly news in innovative and flexible enterprises regardless the size and structure of production. The use of imos CAD/CAM is not only a question of prestige but it is mainly an ingenious strategy for cost savings and development,“ adds Jan Hon. Imos delivers up to 70 per cent time reduction compared to the conventional processes of production preparation and production itself, increased capacity of the mechanical equipment and spoilage reduction while keeping the freedom of choice and enabling individual preparation of products in an atypical and simple way.
