In view of the current situation and the persisting uncertainty in the development of the pandemic in the first half of this year, the management of Trade Fairs Brno, in agreement with major partners and exhibitors, have decided to postpone the SALIMA food fair complex and the EmbaxPrint fair to the dates of 28 to 30 June 2021.

"We believe that in the middle of the year, thanks to vaccination, the situation will be normalized at least so as to enable the holding of trade fairs, such as the SALIMA fair complex and the EmbaxPrint fair. This is not an event for the general public, but a narrow professional target group. We try to make the PES matrix (the Czech pandemic score system) allow such events to take place even when measures are not going to be fully relaxed. The food fair complex and the EmbaxPrint fair are among the traditional events in the BVV Trade Fairs Brno portfolio. Together with our partners, we believe in their renewal this year," said Jiří Kuliš, CEO of BVV Trade Fairs Brno, about the change of dates.

Sectoral associations, major partners and exhibitors consider the SALIMA / SALIMA Technology / MBK / G + H / VINEX / EmbaxPrint fair complex to be an important presentation platform and support its holding.

"The organization of fairs, exhibitions and congresses has been significantly disrupted by the Coronavirus pandemic, which has been restricting life in the country for almost a year. We will certainly welcome and support the possibility of organizing any event of this type, even in a limited mode. We believe that the epidemic situation in the middle of this year will enable the SALIMA fair to be held in compliance with the relevant current measures, "added Tomáš Prouza, President of the Czech Confederation of Commerce and Tourism.

The new dates do not collide with any similar sectoral event in the Czech Republic or abroad.
