Ballistic resistant mobile barriers
A lightweight protective structure characterized by rapid deployment and resistance to small rear impacts that do not require any special handling equipment and can be adapted to many different conditions. Barriers can be easily assembled into different shapes to fulfill their role, such as checkpoints, fortifications, barricades, road blocks and street barriers in a city.
Shooting Range
The Department of Measurement at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University established the Laboratory for the Measurement of Speech, Audio and Video Transmission Quality in Telecommunication Networks in 1999. This laboratory works primarily on subjective testing. It provides independent testing services in accordance with relevant ITU-T, ITU-R, ETSI and ANSI recommendations. It performs unique multilingual, multi-national subjective tests and also performs tests under special conditions, such as mental or physical stress, or solving parallel tasks.
Drones
The Laboratory of Multi-Robot Systems at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering integrates various research fields required for design, implementation, experimental evaluation and application of complex robotic systems. Its team members are engaged in motion planning, locomotion generation, co-ordination, stabilization, navigation and localization of ground and airborne robot groups.
The research group deals with security critical systems and environmental monitoring.
Walking Robots
The Faculty of Electrical Engineering‘s Artificial Intelligence Center has developed basic building blocks for autonomous navigation of robots that go through difficult terrain.
FlexiGuard
A wireless biotelemetric system called FlexiGuard was created at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering. It is designed for monitoring of physiological and environmental data of firefighters and other IRS members, designed to increase safety during interventions and to monitor and optimize the training process.
