International Defence and Security Technologies Fair

ELDIS Pardubice

The company ELDIS Pardubice is a leading Czech producer and manufacturer of active radar systems for air navigation and air traffic control. Besides the manufacturing of the new airport radars, the company also performs the modernisations of older radar systems, depending on the specific customers’ requirements. Customers in many countries around the world use the products manufactured by company ELDIS Pardubice.

Are you regular exhibitors at the IDET trade fair? What has been your experience of taking part in the fair in the past?
We are attending the IDET trade fair from the beginning and it means to us an important event with steadily high participation of professionals and experts. At this fair we have also been repeatedly awarded for our products and technological innovations.

Do you meet the right kind of customers in Brno?
Certainly. For companies such as ELDIS, supplying their products to the military, it is often not easy to properly target and get the manufactured equipment to the customer. The IDET trade fair means a significant market interlink in this respect.

What do you expect from this year’s fair?
We expect traditionally high attendance and a rich accompanying program. Furthermore, it would be appreciable if the IDET organizing team managed to attract more foreign visitors.

What interesting items from your company’s range can we see at the fair? What new products are you presenting at the fair?
The visitors will probably be most interested in a set of airport radars RPL-2000, which is the subject of a major contract for the Czech Ministry of Defence and the delivery of the first radar set of total four sets is currently underway. The RPL-2000 set consists of a primary surveillance radar RL-2000, secondary surveillance radar MSSR-1 and precision approach radar PAR-E. All three radars are fully solid state and above that, the precision approach radar uses the system of active electronic scanning (AESA), which allows to avoid any mechanically moving or rotating parts.
At the fair, we will also introduce newly designed rotary joints in three-channel and six-channel version for use with collocated radar RL-2000/MSSR-1 or with independent secondary radar MSSR-1.
