International Defence and Security Technologies Fair

První brněnská strojírna Velká Bíteš, a. s.

The TJ100 turbojet engine was developed for light aircraft, such as light and ultra light sports aircraft, gliders equipped with an engine, piloted EXPERIMENTAL planes and various flying machines without a pilot.

In 2015 our company marketed the TJ40
turbojet, developed for a wide spectrum of applications, including gliders and big RC models. The TJ40 offers a high level of integration of all the engine body parts. Nine pieces of this engine model were sold last year. PBS Velká Bíteš turbine engines hold a unique position in the world in relation to performance/weight ratio.

Last year the development of a new TJ80
turbojet engine was completed. The engine is a small turbojet constructed for missiles, pilotless targets and pilotless machines. Now this new turbojet has completed testing and its parameters have been verified.

What interesting items from your company’s range can we see at the fair? What new products are you presenting at the fair?
The TJ80 engine is the latest model in our jet engine series. The engine was constructed in line with market demands to optimise the power/weight ratio to the maximum. Exacting development has resulted in a product whose parameters rank it among the world elite in the given power category. The principal parameters of the TJ80 engine are 900 N, 10.5 kg, ø 235 mm, Mach 0.8.

Who is your range of products primarily aimed at?
In addition to meeting up with representatives of our existing partners, we would also like to address manufacturers of UAVs. We would also like to discuss possible applications of our products with representatives of the individual NATO armies.

What do you expect from this year’s fair?
We want to present our newly developed TJ80 engine, whose extraordinary parameters give it broad market potential, to the trade public for the first time at this year’s event. We would also like to map out new trends and the direction of development in the aviation industry and the defence industry in general. We are already looking forward to meeting trade professionals and members of the general public in Brno.
