Let me briefly introduce you to the German company Mehler Vario System GmbH, which is the world‘s leading manufacturer and supplier of top ballistic protection products. For the first time in the Czech Republic, we will be able to present you a soft ballistic insert for a full-bodied body vest with a thickness of only 1.5 mm. As an exclusive representative for the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland, we are proud to state that Czech state police – Special intervention units are currently being equipped with one of our main products, the modular heavy ballistic vest S-1.

Comfort II vest

Proven and functional. That’s the definition of the Mehler Vario System Comfort II (=CII) vest. It’s a covert vest made of breathable materials, which not only protects the wearer’s life, but is as well providing high wearing comfort, thanks to ergonimical shaping and wide range of available Male (S – 3XL) and Female (S – XL) sizes.

The heart of CII is ofcourse the soft ballistic insert from the same manufacturer. The soft inserts are shaped according to the size of the carrier – You are not getting unisize insert for S-L sized carriers. Apart from sizing, our soft inserts excel in the wide range of ballistic protection classes as well as in the possibility of being additionaly equipped with slash and stab protection. They are available in following standards: NIJ (USA/0101.04 i .06 – level III.A and III.A+), VPAM (EU/BSW 2006 – level 3, 3+ a 4) and SK (DE/class 1). That means a protection against almost every possible pistol or revoler ammo type. It’s up to you, what you choose to have, which includes adjusting the insert as well according to KR1 and SP1 stadards to secure stab and slash protection.

S1 heavy ballistic vest

Meet Rools-Royce of the heavy ballistic vests, the S1 type – worldwide recognised, more than 10 years in-use with no complaints. All european special units including Czech Police intervention units are equipped with this vest.

It’s a toughtful complet that provides protection of up to 80 % of the weares body in wide range of ballistic protection standards and classes, primarily in VPAM standard, on which this concept is based from the very beginning. It also excels in highest possible wearing comfort and all-roud ease of use. Ballistic protective solutions for this vest: Soft ballstics (CII compatible) – available in following standards – NIJ (USA/0101.04 i .06 – level III.A and III.A+), VPAM (EU/BSW 2006 – level 3, 3+ a 4) and SK (DE/class 1) a KR1+SP1, hard ballistics (ICW or Stand-Alone) – available in NIJ (USA/0101.04 i .06 – level IV) and especially VPAM (EU/BSW 2006 – level 6 to 10).

Mehler Engineered Defence

VFor government authorities, we produce customized protective shields for personnel in a variety of protection classes such as NIJ 0108.01, VPAM, TR bullet-resistant shields and other protection standards to counteract long gun and handgun threats.

In addition to standard models, our personnel protection shields are tailor-made to your specific requirements. Our small-format wearable shields are suitable for use in tight spaces such as aircraft or apartments. The larger models offer the maximum protective area while maintaining low weight and are used in evacuations and hostage situations. Foldable versions are also available which can be transported in patrol cars as protection against long gun fire in active shooter situations.
All ballistic material used for MEHLER ballistic protective shields is tested and certified according to national and international standards by independent test laboratories.
