Since 1976, National Instruments has become one of the top suppliers of tools and systems for measurements, control and testing. The combination of hardware and graphical development environment LabVIEW allows development of modular systems with software–defined functionality. The most common applications in the field of defense and security are:
Development and testing of radar systems;- In-Vehicle Dataloggers (measurement of vibrations, strain of bodywork, temperature, CAN, LIN and FlexRAY messages…) in rugged enclosure;
- Real – time monitoring of radiofrequency spectrum;
- Prototyping and deployment of wireless communication systems;
- Automated test of electromechanical structures (wings, landing gears, electromotors…);
- RF signals generation (jamming, simulation of signal for receivers), such as GPS, WiFi…
Following systems will be shown at National Instruments booth during IDET 2015:
- Radar – testing of Radar algorithm using radar target simulator.
- Real-time RF spectrum monitoring up 26 GHz with 800 MHz bandwidth. Detection of interference in the observed frequency band.
- Save large amount of data from spectral monitoring with speed up to 3,6 GB/s.
- GPS signal simulator – generation of trajectory for GPS receiver
- Control unit for a helicopter with two degrees of freedom
