MOTOSALON to celebrate its 10th anniversary in Prague

Several hundred motorcycle and quad brands, as well as bikers' clothing and accessories will be presented by almost 150 exhibitors of this year's tenth anniversary of the Motosalon International Fair for Motorcycles, ATVs, Accessories and Clothing, which is scheduled to be held in Prague Letňany exhibition centre in 2019. It will be here for you from Thursday 28 February to Sunday 3 March. Motosalon 2019 occupies halls 2,3,4,5 and 6, while the Show Arena is located in the open area in front of the entrance hall. This is the first milestone anniversary, so it will be celebrated right from the start. And the celebration will be more than dignified – in fact, Motosalon is the biggest ever in its 10-years‘ existence.

There is definitely something to look forward to! At the biggest motorcycle show in Central Europe, visitors will see almost all brands of motorcycles present in the Czech Republic. Fans of ecological driving will also have theirs. Electric scooters will be displayed at several stands. The new models will be featured by the Royal Enfield brand in the Czech premiere.

Every biker must have properly equipment and gear – in the first place for his safety, but he must also feel comfortable and wants to look good. Traditional Czech manufacturers and retailers of world-renowned brands will see to this. At this year's Motosalon, you will find a great selection of crash helmets of dozens of brands.

10 famous motorbike celebrities

The fair will be attended by a number of well-known celebrities who are inclined to motorcycles. Great actors and bikers such as Pavel Liška and Jan Révai and the traditionally popular stuntman and test driver of the Prima TV Autosalon show Pepa Sršeň Šiler have become faces of Motosalon. During the opening ceremony, to take place on Thursday, at 13 o'clock, a total of 10 celebrities will meet on the stage to launch our first milestone anniversary celebrations and perhaps remember the last 10 years with their motorbikes – actors Honza Révai and Pavel Liška, actress Vanda Hybnerová, singer Helena Zeťová but also racer Ollie Roučková, General Petr Pavel, freestyleist Petr Pilát, rider Karel Hanika, traveller Jarda Síma and stuntman Pepa Sršeň. In addition, Jarda Šíma will be celebrating 1.5 million kilometers on motorbike at the Motosalon.

Supporting programme

Every day, the Crazy Day stunt association will be featured in the Show Arena. Visitors will see their performances several times a day; in addition Míra Lisý and motogymkhana will be featured on this outdoor stage.

Another centre of the supporting programme will be the stage in Hall 5. The first day at 1 pm there will be the opening, a discussion with Pavel Liška and Jan Révai, the christening of a special issue of Playboy magazine with Karlos Vémola, and every day there will be interviews, book signings, and programmes with motorbike travellers, first aid demonstrations and workshops by the Brno Automotodrome.

Motorcycle of the Year poll

This year, the Motorcycle of the Year poll will be held again, in which both an expert jury and the general public cast their votes. The voting has started at the beginning of February. Go to voting

Motosalon is held under the motorcycle section of the Car Importers‘ Association. By agreement of Trade Fairs Brno and the motorcycle section of the Car Importers‘ Association, the Motosalon trade show is held alternately  in Brno and Prague.

Innovations especially for Motosalon 2019 are also prepared for the BVV Trade Fairs mobile app.

Practical information

Motosalon will take place from Thursday 28 February to Sunday 3 March. For the general public, gates will open on Thursday noon. At 13:00, there will be a festive opening on the stage in Hall 5. On the following days, the Exhibition Centre will be open daily from 9:30 to 19:00, on Sunday until 17:00. Entrance fee for individuals is between CZK 180 (until the end of January with online sales) and CZK 250, a family ticket costs from CZK 500 to 600.
