Brief characteristics of the exhibit
Instrument for the quick and contactless elemental analysis of various samples by the means of Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS). No sample preparation is needed, instrument is sensitive to the most of the chemical elements and the detection limits are in the range of 1-100 ppm. Determination of elemental composition, surface chemical mapping - inspection of homogeneity, depth profiling, material sorting, etc. Considering the specific requirements of the research laboratories the instrument is designed to be modular and extensible with the series of additional modules, which increases the overall analytical capabilities.
