Brief characteristics of the exhibit
Hybrid pumping system is determined for transport of liquids over long distances or for pumping from deep wells. Besides turbine mode it can also be operated in pump mode and recuperate excess pressure energy. The system is based on ring electrical motor principle, where rotor is made up by the axial pump rotor and stator is part of the pipe. Compact design enables fast connection to the pipeline, moreover pump is hermetic without seals. Hybrid pumping system can also be applied for the rescue operations.
