Brief characteristics of the exhibit
With its geometrically shaped abrasive grain, VSM ACTIROX achieves twice the stock removal with a significantly faster grinding speed in comparison to randomly shaped ceramic grains. In practical tests, the ACTIROX AF890 and AF799 fibre discs were able to remove 50 percent more stock within the same time than the previously leading abrasive when levelling welding seams made of stainless steel or non-alloyed steel. Thanks to faster grinding and the maximum possible stock removal, operating costs are reduced and productivity is increased.
