Brief characteristics of the exhibit
Digital twin of manufacturing cell on Institute of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics is presented to the user with using virtual reality, where data from control systems of machinse, information systems and external sensors is displayed online. Data are processed and analyzed for subsequent prediction of production capability, testing and optimization of production cell design. The designed digital twin is also used as a remote virtual workplace management tool. The aim of the proposed solution is primarily to reduce the time for preparation of new production, reduce the number of non-conforming workpieces and streamline the maintenance of the production cell, which leads to economic and time savings in its operation.
