Brief characteristics of the exhibit
The basic component of NANOTECH (NanoLub®IF-WS₂) lubricants and additives are fullerene tungsten disulfide nanoparticles, first synthesized in 1992 at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. Symmetrical spherical structures with dimensions of 120 –180 nm consisting of 20–100 concentric layers of inorganic compounds create a continuous super slippery coating of friction layers and thanks to the onion structure allow self-healing of submicron surface defects and increase their quality. As "super lubricants", they have the ability to significantly reduce the coefficient of friction, operating temperatures of the equipment and thus save energy and CO2 emissions. They reduce wear, prolong service life, increase reliability and performance. Products with IF-WS₂ are safe from the point of view of users and environmental protection.
