Brief characteristics of the exhibit
CaviPlasma,device for waste water treatment, was invented under leadership of BUT, in collaboration with MU and Institute of Botany of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Device aims on so called micropollutants removal: residuals of pharmaceuticals, estrogenes, pesticides etc. Low-temperature plasma discharge is created within water vapors of hydrodynamic cavitation. CaviPlasma is a unique patented technology with huge potential in water treatment and decontamination from biological and chemical pollutants. It is characterized by high elimination efficiency and large volume of treated water. Intensive negotiations are under way to sell the licence and commercialize the device.
