More about the exhibited mouflon trophies
One of the exhibitions included under the "hunting stories" also tells the story of Židlochovice mouflons. Among others, there will be three mouflon trophies from Židlochovice on display, which are truly world-class and worth saying more about:
Mouflon 257.55 points, Termanec game reserve
The second strongest mouflon trophy in the Czech Republic (in the world) was caught by I. Tiriac in 2014. The first place is held by a mouflon of 258.60 points caught by M. Krajčík in 2011.
Mouflon 252.45 points, Termanec game reserve
The fifth strongest mouflon in the Czech Republic (in the world) was caught by B. Janda in 1992. At the time of catching this trophy was the strongest.
Mouflon 246.20 points, Diváky game reserve
Until 2009, this was the strongest mouflon trophy in the Czech Republic (in the world) caught at large as a five-year-old by P. Forejtek in 1996. At present, this trophy is the fourth strongest in the world.
Since 2013, the world record of free range hunting has been 250.30 points (P. Zima, MS Machov)
A mouflon trophy must earn at least 205 points to be awarded a Gold Medal.
