This year's National Gamekeeping Show will be outstanding
This year's end of
April can be described without exaggeration as a hunting holiday at the Brno
Exhibition Centre. The National Gamekeeping Show will be held there from 22 to 26
April, concurrently with the ANIMAL TECH fair and the National Show of Livestock. Almost 200 companies will be
presenting themselves at the three events. The National Gamekeeping Show is
located in Hall G1 and in outdoor area G, where you will find nearly 80
companies. Some of extra programmes will take place in Hall G2 and in the
outdoor area near Hall Z.
Weapons, optics, ammunition and hunting supplies
Hall G1 is filled to the brim with everything that goes with hunting and gamekeeping. Visitors will find hunting weapons, optics and ammunition at the stands of KOZAP, ARMS-CZ, Broková střelba – Filip Matějů, IBO CZ, Leica Camera Austria, Les a zahrada, Sellier & Bellot, STV Arms, Swarovski Optik, ThermFox, ThermVisia, Rapier and Záhoří Rudel. Lovecký svět (Hunting World) will be exhibiting hunting weapons from Česká zbrojovka. If you are interested in purchasing guns or ammunition, you must bring your firearms license with you.
Visitors will have a large choice in clothing and supplies for hunters. Companies such as Banner, Bayerwald, Luko, Nordic Craft, Petex Jihlava, Selekt and Virginia shop will bring this range of products to the Brno Exhibition Centre. Caravans suitable for hunting will be presented by Life Style Camper, cabinets and gun safes will be exhibited by Justra trezory. The company Lesy České republiky (Forests of the Czech Republic) will present the history of pheasantry at the manors of Konopiště and Židlochovice, while Hall G1 will also host exhibitors offering hunting tourism, interior accessories, trophy tags and dog handling supplies. Additional exhibitors include FOXYFOXY, PATRIK LOEBE, DIFRI and NATURE SERVICE.
Stage with entertainment and education, trophy displays, and demonstrations
The National Gamekeeping Show traditionally includes a rich supporting programme. Petr Joo will host the programme on the stage and Jožka Šmukař will take care of good vibes. There will be presentations by the CMMJ clubs, dog handling and falconry demonstrations, a programme for children and daily trophy assessment. On Tuesday you can watch a debate that will discuss wolves. Also this year there will be an educational programme for children of all ages – forest pedagogy – on 200 square meters. In the gallery of Hall G1 you can see breeding trophy shows of Brno-City, Šlapanice, Rosice and Židlochovice. As part of the celebration of 100 years since the foundation of the Czech-Moravian Hunting Union, an exhibition of unique trophies from 1923, the European Championship in deer calling, a hunting ball and a trumpeters' concert are under preparation.
Exhibition of livestock and breeding technology
The ANIMAL TECH International Fair for Animal Production and the National Show of Livestock will be held in Halls P and F. Breeding technology, feed, genetic services and agricultural technology will be on display. The supporting programme will feature championship and competitive cattle shows, a horse show programme, a beekeeping exhibition and sales of farm and regional foods.
