Hungary has long been known as a food pantry of Europe. Meat from traditional but very modern breeding has excellent taste, and just like Hungarian salami and sausage specialities is popular not only in Europe but also worldwide.
The popularity of microbreweries rises
There are more than 300 of them in the Czech Republic and the number is rising. Demand for quality craft beer has also led to the creation of the MICROBREWERY FESTIVAL at SALIMA, which will present 35 microbreweries with more than 100 different beers.
Production of the best food, live!
For four days, the Czech company FRIGOMAT will put on a culinary performance for visitors of INTECO at their exhibition stand in Hall "V". Three confectionery masters will alternate in a special studio for four days, revealing the production of soft serve and cone ice cream and presenting examples of ornamentation and decoration of this frosty delight.
Taste South Moravian regional specialities and the fruitiest ice cream in Bohemia!
At stand no. 069, visitors can taste the fruitiest ice cream in the country. The company David Polanský will present quality and most delicious ice cream mixtures intended for the production of soft ice cream at INTECO.

Celebrate a jubilee with us!
The thirtieth jubilee Salima food fair 2016 is approaching. The gates of the Brno Exhibition Centre will open welcome experts, businessmen and educated public to the Salima / Vinex, MBK and INTECO international food fairs, which will be held in on 17 to 20 February 2016 at the Brno Exhibition Centre. Together with these fairs, the International Fair of Packaging and Printing EmbaxPrint will also begin.
