Hungarian Flavours 7 Times Differently
The Agricultural Marketing Centre, which is part of the Hungarian Tourism company and helps promote the Hungarian agricultural and food products in foreign markets, brought seven companies from different areas of the food industry to Brno this year.
Thirteen Czech Producers Received the KLASA And Czech Product Certificates
Do dnešního dne se národní značkou kvality KLASA mohlo pyšnit 1201 výrobků od 235 výrobců. Dopoledne k nim přibylo dalších sedmnáct nově oceněných produktů od devíti výrobců, kteří dnes na mezinárodním potravinářském veletrhu SALIMA převzali certifikáty z rukou náměstkyně ministra zemědělství Jaroslavy Beneš Špalkové a ředitele Státního zemědělského intervenčního fondu Martina Šebestyána. Poté byly čtyřem firmám předány certifikáty Český výrobek – garantováno Potravinářskou komorou ČR.
The trade fair smells of coffee and brings new concepts
A great connoisseur of coffee and an internationally recognized expert of Italian origin, Gian Luigi Nora, who is considered a "guru" in his field, participated in drafting of a concept which is presented by Espresso company in Hall A2 in Brno these days. The concept is called CAFE RESERVA and in the words of the director of Ivo Moravec its creation took five years. The company also presents Italian coffee of the Vergnano brand with the motto "km0" a new project of specially modified filtered water in Brno. Visitors to the stand can also take part in a coffee brewing competition.
SZIF endorses 25 exhibitors
25 Czech brands and manufacturers who offer products labelled KLASA or Regional Food are presented at the Salima fair in Hall A1 at exhibition stand 001 under the wings of the State Agricultural Intervention Fund.
Baker of the year 2014: a ballot yesterday, sharp start today
The first act of the skill competition for the national title, "Baker of the Year 2014 - Junior", which began yesterday afternoon in the Hall V, could be with a slight exaggeration characterised as the calm before the storm. The only decoration of the bakery tables were paper signs with numbers one to fifteen like the number of finalists, the contestants drew ballots with their starting numbers just nearby.
Golden SALIMA knows its winners
The official opening evening of the Salima food fair in the Rotunda of Hall A at the Brno Exhibition Centre saw the announcement of the winning products and exhibits, representatives of companies were presented with the Golden SALIMA award on Tuesday 25 February.
Czech consumers are slowly changing: price still prevails during a purchase, but quality is considered more often
Price still remains an important decision-making criterion during shopping, but interest of domestic consumers in quality Czech food for is gradually growing. Producers are helped by good results in tests and competitions that are published in the media, as well as a visible sign of quality on the products themselves. Company representatives presenting their range of traditional products and novelties agreed about this these days at the Salima trade fair at the exhibition stand of the KLASA national brand in Hall A1.
Taste Croatian specialities
Six smaller food producers from Croatia presents in a joint exhibition in Hall A1. To visit them is definitely worth it, you can taste marinated fillets of saltwater fish, maraschino cherry liqueur or fig jam.
