This year, the company John Deere celebrates an incredible anniversary of 100 years since the beginning of tractor production. On this occasion, it also prepared an action offer of its 5E, 5M, 5R, 6MC, 6RC, 6M and 6R tractor models.
New awards for exhibits supporting soil water retention
As in the previous years, the GRAND PRIX TECHAGRO, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS contest will be part of the Brno agricultural and forestry fairs, where an expert jury will select the best entered exhibits and hand awards to them, which the exhibitors will receive at a gala evening on the first day of the fair. The GRAND PRIX contest saw a major innovation for this year's season, prepared by Trade Fairs Brno. In fact, the exhibits entered to the GRAND PRIX contest may moreover apply for a SOIL WATER RETENTION FRIENDLY plaque that confirms the beneficial effects of a machine or technology on soil properties, leading to an improvement in the retention function of the soil.
Online ticket sales launched
We have launched ticket sales for the TECHAGRO, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS trade fairs. For individuals, the purchase of a ticket through the web is the most advantageous – a ticket bought online costs CZK 130.
Tours to TECHAGRO, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS for free on Thursday
On Sunday 8 April, the TECHAGRO, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS trade fairs will be launched at the Brno Exhibition Centre, as in the previous years they will last until Thursday. For Thursday 12 April, the organizers prepared the most favourable conditions for organized groups, which mostly arrive as bus tours. While on other days bus participants will pay CZK 80, they can visit the trade fair free of charge on Thursday.
TECHAGRO, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS 2018
Three international trade fairs focusing on agricultural technology, forestry and hunting, and renewable energy in agriculture and forestry will take place at the Brno Exhibition Centre from 8 to 12 April 2018. TECHAGRO, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASA rank among the biggest events of the kind in Europe and are a clear number one in the Czech Republic and Central Europe.
Agriculture, forestry and hunting in the Czech Republic
The Czech Republic has a rich agricultural and forestry tradition. Over 100,000 people work in over 47,000 agricultural holdings, agricultural land occupies 3.5 million hectares. The most frequently grown crops are wheat, barley and maize. 1.4 million cattle are bred in the Czech Republic.

The TECHAGRO 2018 International Agricultural Equipment Trade Fair will be held from 8 to 12 April 2018. Concurrently will take place the SILVA REGINA International Forestry and Hunting Fair and the BIOMASS Trade Fair for Renewable Sources of Energy in Agriculture and Forestry.
