Better prices for exhibitors at TECHAGRO, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS fairs apply until 30 September
In about seven months, the Brno Exhibition Centre will welcome the first visitors to the agrarian and forestry fairs in 2018. This complex, consisting of TECHAGRO, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS is the most important trade fair event in its field in Central Europe, the Brno Exhibition Centre is completely sold out and more than 100,000 visitors come in regularly. Current development and signals from preparations indicate that the TECHAGRO, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS agrarian and forest fairs will be successful in 2018 as well.
TECHAGRO showed the future of agriculture - interim final report
The complex of agricultural and forestry fairs held in Brno confirmed its position as trade fair event of a European scale. Exhibitors occupied the entire area of the Brno Exhibition Centre, green spaces, parking lots and galleries of the halls were also used; a provisional assembled Hall K with an additional area of 5 thousand square meters was built. The number of foreign exhibitors and presented brands increased, among which none of the world's leading manufacturers of agricultural equipment was missing. Thanks to the concept of the supporting programme with a focus on specialized topics, we managed to increase the proportion of trade visitors. In five days, 110,000 visitors passed through the gates of the Brno Exhibition Centre; similarly as in previous years, the biggest rush was recorded on Sunday.
Grand Prix – evening of awards
The TECHAGRO, SILVA REGINA, ANIMAL VETEX and BIOMASS fairs offered an opportunity for prestigious award announcement and presentation ceremony. A total of 13 best exhibits out of nearly 100 entered exhibits succeeded in the Grand Prix contest. Prizes were also awarded by cooperating editorial teams, along with Memorial Certificates of the Agrarian Chamber of the CR and a total of nine local producers received the Regional Food award of the South Moravian Region.
TECHAGRO is record-breaking, as speakers confirmed at the opening
On Sunday, the Hall A rotunda was virtually bursting at its seams. Such was the interest in the gala opening of this year‘s edition of the agrarian fairs accompanied by the appearance of distinguished guests and presentation of prestigious awards.
TECHAGRO – the Future of Agriculture
From 3 to 7 April 2016, a complex of four agricultural and forestry fairs will be held in the Czech Republic, at the Brno Exhibition Centre: TECHAGRO International Agricultural Equipment Trade Fair, SILVA REGINA International Forestry and Hunting Fair, ANIMAL VETEX International Veterinary Fair and BIOMASS Trade Fair for Renewable Sources of Energy in Agriculture and Forestry. Among these fairs clearly dominates the TECHAGRO fair. This complex is among the three largest of its kind in Europe. On an area of 86,000 square meters will locate their displays 760 exhibitors from 22 countries and visitors will see 1167 represented brands. This year's will record the highest number of foreign participations in the history of the organization of the trade fairs. Numerous groups of exhibitors will come from Hungary and Italy, and for the first time representatives from Korea will attend.
Past, present and future, all under one roof at the ZETOR stand at Techagro
From 3-7 April the Brno Show Grounds will be the venue of the Techagro Trade Fair and the ZETOR will, of course, make an appearance at this event. The brand shall present itself to the visitors in three dimensions. It will not only present the current product portfolio, but also refer to its seventy year history and also present its near future, which is embodied by the design focus ZETOR by Pininfarina, or prototypes of future products.

New agricultural machinery will be presented by a number of companies at four agrarian trade fairs headed by the International Fair of Agricultural Technology TECHAGRO. This prestigious event will take place between 3rd – 7th April 2016 at the Brno exhibition centre. This traditional „farmers’ feast“ in Brno is one of the largest of its kind in Europe.

The International Fair of Agricultural Technology TECHAGRO will soon fill up the entire Brno exhibition centre. An area over 83,000 m2 will introduce over 700 exhibitors and the exhibition stands will attract tens of thousands of visitors and present the very latest innovations in this sector. What has happened over the past two years since the last edition? What new machines can now be purchased, what technologies will be introduced at the fair? We have approached selected exhibitors and it is already clear now that Brno TECHAGRO held between 3rd – 7th April 2016 will again introduce the very best of what can be found in the agricultural machinery market.
The best-selling tractors at the TECHAGRO fair…
The year-on year increases in the sale of new tractors in the Czech market in 2014 rose by 6.5 % percent to 2,453 units. This is indicated by the statistics issued by the Association of Agricultural Machinery Importers. For a long time, the best-selling brands have been John Deere, Zetor and New Holland.
